- My pillow is flat and uncomfortable and I can't plump it up. Why?
- The filling in the pillow has collapsed. After a period of time the filling, whether it is polyester or feather, loses its springiness. The only thing you can do is replace it.
- I always wake up with no duvet over me. Is there anything I can do?
- Absolutely. Buy the next size up from your bed - so if you have a double bed then you buy a king size duvet ( 225cm x 220cm ).
- I think feathers are dirty and unhygienic. Is that true?
- Not at all. Our feather pillows are washed and rinsed 8 times to make sure they are absolutely clean. We would always suggest buying duck or goose feather or down rather than any other types due to their better cleanliness and comfort.
- Why should I buy a mattress protector when I put my old blanket or duvet under the bottom sheet?
- For a start the mattress protector is new and therefore clean. Your body loses over a quarter of a litre of moisture per night and half a kilo of dead skin a year. It is therefore very unhygienic not to have a protective, washable barrier like a mattress protector. You also increase the risk of having an allergic reaction to the build up of dust mites.
